KYLE MILLER
A native of Mechanicsburg Borough, Kyle attended Broad Street Elementary School, the Middle School on Elmwood Avenue, and Mechanicsburg Area Senior High. While at MASH he was a member of the debate and tennis teams. Kyle's first job after High School was working at Malpezzi Funeral Home.
After graduation, Kyle went on to Muhlenberg College, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in German Studies. He lived for a semester in Washington, DC where he worked at The White House as a Presidential Speechwriting Intern for the Executive Office of the President.
Kyle furthered his education at Lehigh University where he completed the Community Fellowship program with a Master of Arts in Political Science. In Bethlehem, he was employed with Renew Lehigh Valley (RenewLV), a non-partisan non-profit organization advocating for coordinated land-use policies, multi-modal transportation solutions and regional approaches supporting government efficiency. There he was involved in a variety of issues including a initiative focused on regional water/wastewater management as well as advocating for regional planning and policies directed at revitalizing downtown communities.
Kyle currently works as a Senior Marketing Specialist in the Land Practice division of the Eastern PA/Southern NJ Industrial Real Estate Team of Cushman & Wakefield of Pennsylvania. Previously, he worked in field of residential real estate, serving as the Marketing Manager for TeamPete Realty Services, and a REALTOR at Lawyers Realty. He is a consummate researcher and genealogist. Kyle is a member of the Pennsylvania Society Sons of the Revolution, General Society War of 1812 in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Military Order of Loyal Legion of the United States.

Currently serving his third term on Borough Council, Kyle was sworn in as the youngest Borough Council member at the age of 25 in January 2011. He won reelection in November 2015 and again in November 2019 receiving the highest vote total in a Mechanicsburg Borough Council election to-date. Kyle was sworn-in to his current term on January 6, 2020 by Judge Al Masland. In January 2022, Kyle was unanimously elected Council President.
Kyle is well versed in the issues facing small municipalities and is an advocate for efficient and effective government, sustainable development, and government transparency. He also brings a unique perspective from his experience as a licensed real estate professional and marketing expert.
